Lace Lace Lace

I've been doing a few different tattoos for Maria. She wanted a lace heart chestpiece, with more lace patterns to be added on at a later date. I've also just started work on her sleeve. She had roses and other lace on the wrist done by someone else a few years ago so I've started to add new patterns around them. I love pattern work so this is fun but very time consuming, still loads to do!

Cover-ups

Here are a couple of recent cover-ups. The first two are a half sleeve to cover up an old tattoo my client got when he joined the army, to mark him now leaving the army. I loved doing the rose cover-up, bye bye to my client's ex's name!

More work

A few more tattoos from a while ago (I've been neglecting my blog yet again)! Did a phoenix on Damon, the sun tattoo in the middle is not by me. The bottom is a sleeve I've been working on for a while, can't wait to continue with it!

Paintings

I've been really enjoying painting in this style recently. Did the first one from a photo I came across online and the second was my mum's christmas present, it's of her when she was little!

Artwork

I did this pen and ink drawing when I was at school so it's an oldie but I've still got it on my wall! It's of a hand holding an archery bow and there's a wee ghost archer in the background!!

More recent work

Some more recent work I've done. I feel a bit more confident now but still a long, long, long way to go! I love black and grey realism but been experimenting with more colour which has been fun.

My first tattoos

Here are a selection of the first tattoos I did, pretty scary tattooing for the first time! The first photo is one I did on my own ankle, had a nice dead leg for a while after it!

Thought I'd start yet another blog! This time to share my work as a tattoo apprentice, tattoos I've done and pieces I'd like to do. Will also talk about artists and designers who inspire me and just general rubbish really! Hope it's not too boring!
